On the other side of that coin is the traditional Japanese squatter toilet. May the sweet Buddha help you if you rent a place with one of these, as I have done. They require balance, precision, and a lack of shame, but are apparently better for your digestive tract. Not to get into explicit details, but us Japanese can use these without taking off all our clothes.
Many foreigners, on the other hand, strip down to their birthday suit, say a quick prayer, and do their business.

While pooping. Japanese tubs, on the other hand, tend to be smaller than their western counterparts. More for soaking deeply, rather than stretching out leisurely. This is a changing trend, however, with many modern bathrooms offering leg room and more room for bubbles. Enjoy the bubbles. Soak a little. As whole families share the tub water after washing of course we want to the retain the heat as much as possible.

When Gintoki and Katsura are turned into cats, and Kondo is turned into a gorilla, he takes them under his wing. After an attempted mutiny by the other cats, he is captured along with the other cats by Katsuo for the Amanto of Planet Catnip. While he protects the other cats from a huge beast, Gintoki, Katsura and Kondo come to the rescue and help them escape.
He used to be human, but became a cat 13 years ago. Back when he was human, he was a lowly killer working for the yakuza. One day he found and became attached to a kitten, which taught him the value of life. He made a promise never to kill again, which got him into trouble with his employer, who sent him on a suicide mission. When the cat sacrificed itself to save him, he awoke to find himself in the body of the cat, while his own body laid lifeless and surrounded by corpses.
A replacement robot that Kagura and Shinpachi had Gengai build since Gintoki left them. He winds up brainwashing the whole cast and the whole Kabukicho with Fake Memories of him as the protagonist of the series. Community Showcase More.

A few more blocks away, around Shin Okubo station, are Korean restaurants and shops of every description, signs written in hangul, street stalls selling snacks and the spicy scent of kimchi in the air.
Woe that we had already stuffed ourselves full of katsudon! We poked around a little, guessing at the strange creations in sweet shop windows and marvelling over shops selling nothing but merchandise plastered with the smiling, well-groomed heads of Korean pop idols and actors. After a leisurely coffee to escape the short hail storm, we'd cleared enough stomach real estate to buy a few Hotok aka hodduk from a stall. I had the hachimitsu honey flavour and it was amazing. The gooey filling tastes exactly like baklava, honey spiced with cinnamon and ground nuts.
Further internet research suggests the pancake-like outsides are made with "a yeast leavened flour-based dough that has rice flour from the type of sticky rice that is used to make mochi mixed in to improve its chewiness". So good.
