The problem? I was full of shit. Was it a good idea? Did I know what I was talking about? Not really. But, not in the way I first wanted to. Instead of posting right away, I waited until I got home.
Perfection of the Morning
The post that came then was real. You have to live it, learn it, struggle with it, and find ways out of that struggle. Before it is anything that can be part of a story, it has to be your story.
If its not, it will fall flat. This entire post is a really long way of saying, be authentic. This morning, smashed it!
Over the last few weeks, I have been reflecting on this repetitive behaviour— why do I keep quitting, why do I never make it to the end, why do I no longer start to make changes? The fear of it not being perfect and failing can often overwhelm that motivation to even start at all. Taking this time to think has shown me that The Four Elements of The Pavelka Way; eat, sweat, think and connect are not about being perfect all the time. They are about making a better choice and small changes; each success, no matter how small, will contribute to a well-rounded and healthy life.
